LIMINAL 3D RENDERING

Terms of Service

By booking services with Liminal 3D Design, you acknowledge and agree to the following Terms of Service.

Refund Policy

Due to the custom nature of our work, once design services have commenced, all fees are non-refundable. Commencement is defined as the submission of your completed design questionnaire following booking.

Project Eligibility

Design services are available for kitchens, bathrooms, full homes, and specialty spaces across new construction and renovation projects. Each project is custom-scoped and quoted based on the number of spaces, layout complexity, and level of detail required. Liminal 3D Design reserves the right to determine project readiness before proceeding.

Process and Timeline

Step 1 — Booking and Submission

Once your booking is confirmed, you’ll receive access to the my Client Portal, which serves as the central hub for all project communication, file sharing, and deliverables.

Projects officially begin on the Monday following receipt of:

Your completed design questionnaire, and

Finalized architectural plans (.PDF, .DWG, or Chief Architect file)

All design preferences, inspiration images, selections, and material details must be submitted through the Design Document. Submissions made through chat, text, or email will not be considered part of the official project record.

To begin on the following Monday, the Design Document and all required project information must be fully completed and submitted by Thursday. Submission of information after Thursday does not automatically guarantee a Monday start date. Liminal 3D Rendering reserves the right to review and approve all submitted materials prior to scheduling a project.

If the Design Document is incomplete, additional information is requested, or any required materials are submitted after Thursday, Liminal 3D Rendering reserves the right to move the project start date to a later week, including the following Monday start cycle.

Step 2 — Initial Design (1–2 Weeks)

After your submission is reviewed and approved, your initial design package will be prepared within:

1 week for one room

2 weeks for two rooms or more

Your initial design includes 2D plans, cabinet elevations, and 3D views based on your finalized layout.

Step 3 — Review and Provide Feedback

After receiving your initial design gallery, you will have 14 calendar days to review the design and submit your feedback and revision requests. This form will be given to you at the same time as your initial design.

Once feedback is received, the final design will be delivered in a week.

Included Revisions: Revisions cover refinements within the agreed layout concept and may include:

Minor adjustments to cabinetry placement (e.g., shifting widths, aligning runs)

Small shifts in appliances or fixtures (e.g., moving a sink or refrigerator a few inches)

Style or material swaps (tile, hardware, lighting, paint colors, countertops)

Visual refinements aligned with the original design direction

Not Included in Revisions (New Design Pass): The following are considered new design work and are not included:

Full redesigns or new layouts

Flipping or reorienting an entire space

Removing or adding major features (islands, new cabinetry runs, or structural elements)

Introducing a new inspiration or design direction after initial delivery

Changes outside the included scope require a separate quote. Additional revision sessions may be purchased separately.

Optional Step 4 — Photorealistic Renderings

Once the final design is complete, photorealistic renderings will be delivered. Realistic renderings are created using AI-powered photorealistic enhancement technology. In many cases, the enhanced images match the approved design exactly. However, AI can occasionally take minor liberties during the enhancement process, resulting in small variations from the

approved design. These variations are typically minimal and do not affect the overall design intent.

If you require the photorealistic renderings to be an exact 100% match to the approved design, an enhanced accuracy rendering service is available as an optional add-on for an additional fee.

Communication

All communication must take place within the Client Portal. This ensures accurate documentation, efficient project management, and clear records of decisions. Keeping all communication centralized helps ensure nothing gets missed, lost, or overlooked throughout the design process.

Drawings and Dimensions

All plans and elevations are for conceptual design purposes only and are not construction documents. Dimensions are included for design reference and follow the standards below. Clients are responsible for working with licensed professionals to produce construction-ready drawings and for field-verifying all dimensions prior to fabrication or installation.

Cabinetry

Base cabinets are assumed to be 36" H (including countertop) and 24" D and will be labeled with width only. Height and depth are noted only if non-standard.

Wall cabinets are assumed to be 12" D and will be labeled with width and height only. Depth is noted only if non-standard.

Full height cabinets are labeled with width, height, and depth. Cabinets with split front faces will have each door or drawer face individually dimensioned in height.

Toe kicks are assumed to be 4" H unless a different height is specifically requested.

Shelving within cabinetry, individual drawer and door faces, and cabinet interiors are not dimensioned. Molding widths and filler gaps are not individually labeled.

Island & Layout

Island width and depth are provided. It is assumed that the total height is 36”H with countertop included. Height is noted only if non-standard.

Appliances & Fixtures

Appliances are modeled and dimensioned to the exact specifications provided by the client. Electrical outlets, plumbing fixtures, and similar elements are not dimensioned as to their exact location within the room.

Exclusions

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Liminal 3D Rendering does not provide:

Structural, engineering, or construction documents

On-site measurement or supervision

Electrical, plumbing, or HVAC layouts

Furniture or decorative styling

Walls, windows, and doors in adjacent spaces may be modeled for visualization

purposes. No architectural design work, detailing, or modifications will be provided for rooms outside of the signed scope of work.

Materials and Finishes

Renderings are representational. Color, texture, and lighting variations from real-world products should be expected. Paint colors can be closely matched when both the manufacturer and color name are provided. Certain architectural details, materials, or product-specific elements may be interpreted using a similar visual representation when an exact match is not available, while still maintaining the overall design intent and desired look of the space.

Timeline Disclaimer

All timelines assume prompt communication and complete submissions. Delays in materials, plan delivery, or feedback will extend the project schedule.

Social Media, Portfolio Use, and Design Credit

Liminal 3D Rendering retains the right to share all completed renders and visualizations on its website, portfolio, and social media channels at any time, with or without prior notice to the client or collaborating party.

Credit on Client Projects

When Liminal 3D Rendering is engaged directly by a homeowner or property owner, all design and visualization work produced is the original creative work of Liminal 3D Rendering. Any public sharing of renders by the client must credit Liminal 3D Rendering as the designer and

visualization artist. Clients may not represent Liminal 3D Rendering’s work as the product of another designer or firm.

Credit on Collaboration Projects

When Liminal 3D Rendering is engaged by an interior designer, architect, or other design professional to produce visualizations of their concept, Liminal 3D Rendering’s role is limited to visualization and rendering only, unless a separate written agreement explicitly defines additional design services and corresponding compensation. In any public sharing of the work, both parties’ contributions must be accurately represented. The collaborating designer may not present Liminal 3D Rendering’s visualization work as their own production, and Liminal 3D Rendering will not claim credit for design decisions that were not its own.

Scope of Collaboration

Design input provided by Liminal 3D Rendering beyond its defined visualization scope does not transfer creative or professional responsibility to Liminal 3D Rendering, nor does it constitute an ongoing obligation. Any expectation that Liminal 3D Rendering will contribute design decisions, fill gaps in a concept, or supplement the work of a collaborating designer must be agreed upon in writing before that work begins and is subject to additional fees.
